Starry Night is a painting done in 1893 by Edvard Munch of a small beach south of Oslo in Norway called Åsgårdstrand, where he spent most of his summers since the late 1880’s. He decided that he is going to show the rest of the world what Åsgårdstrand beach sky at night looks like in a painting.
The painting gives a sense of relaxation in which is accomplished with the help of the shapes co-joined together in a firm and purposeful combernation.
