South African multi-disciplinary artist Daniel Popper is known for his colossal figurative sculptures. The epic “Modem Swamp” is one of his most recent sculptures, standing at 8 m tall (26 ft)!
Using steel and fiberglass covered in concrete, the female character poses holding her face in front of her head like a mask, revealing the wild jungle growing within her skull. Projection mapping makes this piece appear as though it’s changing color and material at night, and it even looks like it’s made from chrome at one point.
