Jonathan Horowitz has worked on the black dot project for the past few years. Participants are forced to create their dots with nothing but paint and a brush… There’s a distinct absence of rulers or a compass!
Horowitz explains: “In comic books, the dot is like the atomic unit of the printed image, and here, I wanted the work to be as productive as possible.”
