Jonathan Horowitz (1966-) is a New York-based artist who spends his free time making art with leftover paint he hasn’t used yet.
Horowitz made his debut by using irony and humor to showcase consumerism, war, and politics. He uses a selection of media to do this, including drawings, photography, sculptures, and videos. His work is considered to be political, not propagandistic.
Horowitz’s work includes a solo show, a group show, a permanent installation at the Museum of Modern Art, and an inclusion in a major biennial.
