Two marble-white 9M tall hands emerge from the Grand Canal in Venice to ambiguously support the toppling, yet historical Ca’ Sagredo Hotel and to remind those present of rising sea levels that threaten Venice.
“Support” illustrates humanity’s capacity to damage the environment, but also its ability to save it. The hands hold so much power… the power to love, to hate, to create, and to destroy.
