At the invitation of the Frac des pays de la Loire regional collection of contemporary art, Josephine Meckseper’s first solo exhibition in a French institution was spread over two sites, namely the Hab Galerie, Nantes (9 February – 21 April 2019) and the Frac at Carquefou, Nantes (9 March – 26 May 2019).
In conjunction with selected works from the Frac collection, she brings together a significant selection of works over the past 15 years. She curates some 20 works by other artists, mainly women, into her exhibition.
