Andrzej Dybowski is a Polish game developer who has worked for 4A Games as a Senior Concept Artist. He created some content for Metro Exodus and Arktika.1 from 2016 to 2018. Andrzej Dybowski’s mother is an architect and his brother is a director of photography. They have both been attributed as contributing to his love for art – as most of his family consists of artists. He grew up in the picturesque city of Sopot, by the Baltic sea, which borders the most enterprising city, Gdanśk.
Throughout his childhood, he travelled with his family around the world; he credits these travels with helping him develop his imagination. He studied at the Gdańsk University of Technology, where he graduated in Master of Architecture (M.Arch.). Before being employed in the gaming industry, he received a certificate in digital painting from CGMA 2D Academy.
The studio is originally from Ukraine, with a second office in Malta, 4A Games employs a number of Poles. Besides Andrzej Dybowski, there are Bartosz Guder, Aleksandra Rydel, and Bartek Ryde.
